Stradun - Place to be

On behalf of the NAPP 2003 Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure and privilege to invite you to the Second International Conference on Nuclear and Particle physics with CEBAF at Jefferson Laboratory (NAPP 2003), to be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, 26-31 May, 2003.

We are happy to carry on the tradition established by the First Conference also held in Dubrovnik in 1998. The goal of this series of international conferences is to promote the research at Jefferson Laboratory to wider European physics community, especially to the physicists in Central and Eastern Europe.

The NAPP-2003 Conference is aimed at gathering scientists from various countries and backgrounds to examine the physics that has been already done using CEBAF (Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility) and at the same time discuss the physics that could be done in future by proposed upgraded energies or new detectors. The best way to do it is by bring together scientists to examine present experimental status and to make a research plan for future experiments and collaborations.

We are delighted to welcome you in Croatia. Dubrovnik, the NAPP 2003 host city, is the jewel of the Adriatic coast. This medieval city is under UNESCO protection as a monument of culture. The beauty, history, and art of the Old-town, in addition to an ideal Mediterranean climate and cuisine, will make attending the NAPP 2003 both memorable and enjoyable and, please, do not forget the motto of this conference: Physics could be fun!

We look forward to seeing you in Dubrovnik,
Ivan Supek and Branislav Vlahovic
