additional program for NAPP 2003 participants that would be especially

EXCURSION TO CAVTAT ( 20 EUR )
Half day excursion to the
beautiful and quite typical Mediterranean town of Cavtat (1 hour drive).
Cavtat is the ancient Epidaurum on the Adriatic; Civitas Vetus - predecessor
to Dubrovnik, a medieval city, which was designed and built on the southern
slopes of a peninsula with two gentle coastlines.
EXCURSION TO OREBIC AND KORCULA ( 50 EUR )
Full day excursion, in my
humble opinion, to the most beautiful town on Adriatic coast – Korcula.
Famous explorer Marco Polo was born here in 1254 and you can visit his
birthplace situated near the almost 700-year-old Saint Peter's Church.
Shipbuilding and stonecutting played vital roles in Korcula's economy for
centuries, and the whole city is witness of this beautiful legacy. On a
way to Korcula we will also visit Orebic – an old residential town of tall
ships captains.

SPEED BOAT EXCURSION
You can also enjoy half-day
or full-day cruise with speed boat to visit beautiful islands surrounding
Dubrovnik and, if you are up to it, do some fishing as one participant
spouse suggested. Depending on interest program will be defined.
DUBROVNIK PANORAMA AND SIGHTSEEING ( 20 EUR )
Half day tour by coach &
walking tour. Tour begins with a coach drive to the costal highway for
a panoramic view of the city walls, ancient roof tops and the picturesque
surroundings. A pleasant walk will take you to the Rector's Palace, the
Franciscan Monastery with its 14th century Pharmacy, as well as to other
places of interest.
Guide,
transfers and entrance fees included.
